Saturday night was amazing. I was tired and going to sleep but I didnt know it was only 6:30.
It wasn't windy or cold. Perfect weather for camping with clear skys where you can see millions of stars. I ended up going to sleep at 9:30. I heard some nasty jokes around the fire and I am still googling to understand what was going on.
Riddler990 has a really nice North Face tent. Unfortunately it requires 3 people to set up.
First group left the campground before 8:00am as planned
and made to Santa Maria for breakfast at Pappy's. We lost rruugger on the way to breakfast but he was back after 1,5 hours.
There are some speculations about what he did in this time period but I dan't wanna comment on that.
After over half an hour we were done with breakfast, rest of the group pulled in.
But by the time they made it, first group was leaving. So Dunerat, Sito, Rruugger, Riddler990 and El Zorrillo head out to Cold Spring Tavern for some more drinks.
Rest of the group had their breakfast as well. I was at the restaurant for 3 hours.
Arrived with first group and left with second.
Todd is asking my phone number.
After the breakfast Chris (Browneye), Joel (h8chains), John (Johngil) and I headed towards the best part of the weekend. Camino Cielo
Chris on his street bike with street tires
John under a shade
View on top of the trail was amazing. We could see all the was to Channel Island as John predicted.
At the end of West Camino Cielo Chris rode back home and we ride to Cold Spring Tavern. But there was a huge line for food and drinks so we didnt wait.
Joel is giving Adv salute to HD riders.
On our way back we took East Camino Cielo to bypass freeway. That piece of pavement is the best twisty for bikes. It is not long but amazing ride with amazing view.
And finally we had lunch at Stacky's Seaside cafe at Summerland and wrapped up the day.
Damn I took a lots of pictures. I am becoming more and more like Joel everyday.
See you guys at DV...
