I think the CF/Kevlar weave looks fine:

I was actually going to go with Wolfman's yellow colored tank/saddle bags to match.

Chris said the kevlar is a biatch to cut (that's what its designed to resist - abrasion/penetration), so make sure you thank him for the request.

I always used needle nose pliers to open/close the clips on the fuel lines; with the guards they are probably a requirement to easily reach in there.

Turning the petcock is no longer an option for me while riding; I have to stop to switch it. Not a deal-breaker.
