My bike is the older one on the right. I adapted a Cee Bailey from an 05 1200GS windshield to fit my 1100GS.
I thought the stock windshield was the worst I've ever experienced. I then bought the Givi and it wasn't much better. To me it wasn't even rideable for any distance at all.
So, I cut down the stock windshield and coated it in bedliner to use it as a mounting bracket since the stocker is so tough and well made, just poorly engineered. It works very well now.
