These bags are very cool for off road work where, you will only be accessing the contents at the end of your day. Also nice because they won't get "dented" or banged up if you drop the bike or skim a tree.

Would you ever be somewhere, like in a populated area where the bike would be out of your sight? Do you have any concerns about the security of the contents? That's where the hard bags come in handy. Otherwise, I think you have a winner.
