Part is HEAVY and by that I mean that is a good deal. It's stout and should fend of any offenders that want to take a whack at that sidestand area. It fitted up 'PERFECTLY' even with the tighter tolerances that you've spec'd. 
One comment to those mounting it up. Be sure to get the lower front bolt through the side stand bracket troqued to spec prior to bolting the mount plate up on the bike itself. There is no room to tighten the nyloc nut supplied due to lack of clearance on the casting for the stand. This isn't a problem nor a oversight on Charlie's part just the circumstances of the new superior strength nuts/bolts supplied. 
BTW I have a Slaven's Racing Skid plate and there were no issues fitting it with that skid plate.
Good stuff, now off to Baja to test it out...
