Heal up, stay out of golf courses (they have a shitload of lawnmowers) and get on a stationary bike to keep your conditioning somewhat acceptable.

Only caught up with all this now. Sorry about your crash brother. I think I broke a funny bone in my shoulder last year in October, because its still sore.

Glad to hear you will still be riding, and did not bend to family pressure.

What gear were you missing on this race? Get a carbon fibre Leatt brace, they're excellent and have saved me a few times.
