Make sure its switched power. I tapped into the spare connector near the speedo, its switched and I have zero Issues. If you bought the hi/lo kit, wiring gets a little tricky, I wrote a post a few pages back and tried to explain it well. For me it works beautifully, Just having the brighter low is great, but flicking it up to high beam is priceless. I ride a lot of back country roads at night.
