Last Christmas we returned to New Zealand to have aloof at the North Island. Having spent a month finding as many dirt roads as we could on the South Island last year we were keen to find out what the north had in store.
Boy oh boy, 5 weeks of fun ended with 90 mile beach. The entry to the beach is a 3km long creek which must be ridden down in the centre of the flowing water. A bus driver I asked about it said "no worries mate, just don't stop because it's all quick sand"......
So sorry, there is no footage of the Tapaki stream entry, except for the still at the start of the vid.
