It appears that the HDB website is out of date, did you just give them a call to get the lower clamp with the sub-mount? Also is the guard for the factory dash new as well? I have an EXC and I'm interested in both of those things.

I chose the EXC over the XC-W becuase I could ride it immediately. The extra money, to me, was worth saving the hassle and waiting involved in getting a XC-W legal. Yes, I'll be re-gearing it, though probably not as extreme as the XC-W, and the de-smog will happen once I get the bolt to plug the head. It wasn't included with my bike.
