3 days in Central Victoria - Day 1
This was my first overnight trip on the bike
Left work around 3pm to head up to the Daylesford area to visit friends that have a property.
First stop was Yan Yean dam, as usual for Southern Victoria freezing cold and the odd shower
I tried to avoid major roads, this is somewhere near Romsey
Hanging rock, there is an urban legend that it is haunted by the ghost of some school girls the disappeared here in the late 1800's
Woodend for dinner and warm up, the bicycle belongs to this old bloke I got talking to, he had ridden from about 20kms away. He had to tell me about every motorbike he had owned and everything that is wrong with the world
Little place called Musk
The soil is red just in this area because of the volcanic activity millions of years ago
For some reason I like photographing lonely trees
First time I have had any weight on the back, i didn't notice much difference except on hills ( V-Strom please)
Last stop, frozen but happy
