my pops rode an it490 when i was a kid so of course i bought the first one i could afford from a friend in my mid 20's. 1982 yz490, loved the motor, hated the brakes.

the jump is a double and i think it was a 3rd gear 2/3 throttle jump
did a few races at carlsbad grandprix as well. very few guys my age have been passed by an old guy on a penton
