So I have been 'in' for this ride from the beginning, but have now morphed the trip into a run up into Alaska (perhaps as far as Prudhoe Bay). What do any of you PNW or B.C. guys have to say about a run into AK starting on Sept. 15? Is that too late a departure? Am I going to be super wet everyday? Any opinions? If necessary I may be able to head to AK in late August or early Sept. and stop at Bend on the way back but that would not be my preference.
