we find a great dispersed campspot by the river:




Nobody drove by this spot in the middle of the night, or likely, in the last few DAYS...
We felt alone, it was awesome

The next day, we get an appropriate slow start, and pass by an old homestead.
Yeah, I could live here....



In the middle of Day #3 we head into Ukiah, get some fresh maps at the Forest Service,
and see fellow ADVer hvman at the General Store !!

He was on his way back home, he wasn't gonna make it to Hells Canyon after all.
The sore shoulder won, and began to make his trip less fun.
But it sure was great to share a lunch with you there, Jerry !!

Now, I'm off to bed, it's late, and we're beat.
We'll have to tell you about Ukiah - North...
