Great post, JDub! Thanks for the detailed info about the bike as well....For me, 24,000 on my 2011 GSA since last April and no issues.

I've had about a trillion bikes in the past (ok, 8) all of them except one a BMW and this GSA is easily the best overall scoot I've ever owned, bar none! This summer 12k miles around the intermountain west, the deep south and then up to Maine for a lobster roll.

One might try the Shinko 705 radials. Super inexpensive and great mileage. Reasonable on dirt roads too. My front Shinko has 14,000 on it and looks new. Replacing the rear every 8-10 k. Not bad considering a full set costs about $140.....
