The vial is cut to length
A holding jig and a fine-tooth saw blade
Cutting the plastic with a saw leaves some burr
Deburr with a strip of Scotch-brite pad, then check the finish length
The vial needs a few holes to use as tie down points
A small nail heated to red hot is a good tool for this
These holes are used as tie down points
The next set of pics show attaching the vial to the board.
