Dito, Aluminum sprockets suck on singles. Get a cheap steel sprocket and the best quality O-ring/X-ring chain you can afford. You will be adjusting a cheap chain the whole trip but a good chain you won't need to. I'm of no help on where to purchase parts local. Good luck on your adventure. Keep living the dream.
