Hope y'all had a good Holiday! I enjoyed a lazy 4th of July grillin' some burgers at home and watching movies in the AC.
Thursday I decided to see if that 'redneck personal cooling system' I made last summer still worked. It does
the ice water kept me cool all the way up to the mtns where it was no longer needed. Storms could be seen brewing to the West along the TN border and the breeze and cloud cover felt real gooood! ....about half way from my house to the Blue Ridge I spied a temp reading of 100f.....it was at least 25 degrees cooler than that atop Beech mtn.
We're not in Kansas anymore......
Not much left of OZ though, I'm afraid....
Although it does appear that somebody has salvaged and relocated the 'yellow brick road'
