That looks exactly like a heater core to me, not an oil cooler! Made for coolant, not for oil. Not sure what would happen if you put oil through it. I'm no Jaguar expert, maybe they use an oil cooler that looks like that, but it sure looks like a heater part to me.
I think I have finally learned that life is just too short for cheap butt connectors. And that's all I'm going to say about that.
