Hi h2o_snow, everyone's situation is different, I'd imagine.
I like the way you put 'comfortably' in quotes.
We don't have any kids, nor do we plan on having any and right now, we live in a tent and eat soup directly out of the can so we can afford to see the world. I think it's a good sacrifice. Others may need a bit more 'stability'. YMMV.
