So by the way, it was the liquor store I got stranded in (Note the extra bottle in hand, BlackBerry Brandy). The rain & hail was brutal
and then a flash flood started coming down the street. At one point it was washing up over & splashing thru the middle of the rim. When the rain actually stopped the flood level actually kept going up for a while also. Finally I just couldn't wait any longer.
There was no way around it and I had to wade thru the deeper section first to get to where I am standing.
