On roads less travelled

Rather than backtracking way south to go to the observatory, the next day we stuck with the original plan of going to Temiscaming and back

To travel the backroads of Quebec you have to check in and pay a fee at one of the various ZEC's, which seem to control and manage everything from camping to hunting to road travel.

When we told the lady in the booth what we were planning for the day all she said is 'Ohhhhh' with a look on her face. Hmmmm is all we thought...the map shows a road there.....we can do it

After topping up with fuel off we went.
