If you want brakes that work, either adapt your existing MC or best of all buy a 13mm twin throttle cable handlebar mounted MC. BMW were very conservative when designing the master/slave ratios, resulting in very wooden brakes, a 13mm is just about perfect for brakes that have feel and power.
