Well, no pop. I felt the rubber roll off of the tire [edit: or at least what felt like a roll off the tire]. I knew in the first second that this was a non-recoverable event. My first thought was to stay straight and to coast it to a stop on the rim. But after the dive to the left I was busy staying on top and keeping it from crossing into the opposite lanes. My mind's replay is like watching a movie plane crash from the cockpit. Suddenly the ground came up and the plane nosed in.
Keep riding? I've already secured my next mount.
