Chris, this is in reference to "charge" light on the Acewell. I understand how the charging circuit works on the stock BMW and how the generator light works in the stock instrument cluster. I do not have a schematic of the Acewell internals, so I don't know how its charge light works. Would I be wrong to assume that it functions just like the stock BMW light?
It does function like the stock set up which I believe on the stock harness there is a second black wire that is hot with the key on that is the switched hot for the Acewell. I have to look at my drawing I did for the last one I wired up.
