The welding will be to reposition the lock in tab - needs to move forward 10mm. I'm thinking I'll use some flat bar, machine slots for adjustment. Aggravating to need to do this.
Other disappointment is quality of vinyl. I haven't had the privilege of sitting on it so can't say if quality of materials caries through to foam.
Doesn't seem to interfere with factory racks.
