I got motivated.
This is my very first weld project, wish I'd shaken the photo a bit.
Overalll I'd describe the build quality of the S Meyer solo seat as China. I've hopes of some long distance on this bike so seat is going off to Renazco for foam and cover. I'm going to have too big a chunk of change in it, maybe I'll learn not to drink and ebay.
First, detach misplaced prong.
Then learn to weld.
Next, handy chop saw.
Factory Fit
And you will need to custom fit to eliminate massive slop up front. I used closed cell foam and shoe goo.
