I only did the northern end of the Saw Back track, which the 4x4 people say is the worse part, and I'm confident you'll have no issues on the 950...
(The 950 seems to be a similar size and weight as the Tenere, and more capable)

I called Parks and Wildlife on Tuesday about it, they were heading out on Wednesday to check for fallen trees and such... They told me to call back tomorrow to find out when they'll start handing the key out again...

I'll report back on the condition of the rest of the track in the next couple of weeks...
