I would suggest puting ads on Craigslist (free) in the areas you can travel to. I am in Sonora (a bit north of Yosemite), and people dread having to cut that stuff out to meet minimum fire clearance around their buildings. We can't really burn it for firewood, either, since it burns hot enough to start a flew fire. I would be willing to bet people will be happy to find someone they don't have to pay to do the hard work. Just cut what people will allow, cover your load, and ignore the naysayers. Back in NV, nobody will care what sub-species of Manzanita you sell. Frankly, nobody outside of San Francisco does either.
Try these Craigslist areas: Gold Country, Fresno/Madera, and Visalia/Tulare.
