I used a NoMar brand, Cycle Hill model, stand and was able to mount the front and rear without too much problem. I used the NoMar brand tire lube. The first side when on without tools and with the valve stem on the tube started. The final side was tight for the big "quick stick" tool on both the front and rear. I backed if off and used one of the NoMar levers (spoons) to "stretch" the bead a bit. Then the big "quick stick" bar was easily able to go all the way around and finish the mount. No nicks or chips in the rim with these tools.
I will buy a tube fish for my on bike toolkit. I have no idea how I managed to start the valve stem in the national forest with out a fish a few months back, but I did.
