Take it really easy and follow your surgeon's recommendations religiously for the first three to four months (when he will most likely have you do very little, and you will be very frustrated). But if you screw up in the those first few months, then you really risk not healing correctly. After the first month of strenghtening exercises, you can push yourself a bit more.
