Second Question, do you have to trim the stock levers if you run cyrca bark busters? I was going to run tusk, but I didn't want to trim the levers down. I would rather buy shorter levers that I can just drop into the stock perches.
The engine needs to be loaded properly during the break-in period to get a good ring seal and a bit of WOT action is what is required. Riding it "like you stole it" all of the time or coddling it are both bad and I would think, going by what you have described, that you have done more good than harm so rest easy.
No idea about Cycra guards and short levers...
