After settling in and eating a delicious lunch, it was back to school for their after school activity. Almost every day they have some activity after school. This is to add to the Spanish learning and to be fun.
Today it was kite making. This is because kite flying is traditional on the Day of the Dead in Guatemala. We will take these kites to a festival on Thursday and let some kids fly them, or so I understand.
That is if mine makes it.

And here is my finished product.
I am a little doubtful it will fly, but I know my daughter would be proud of me. Maybe not my final product, but I did make it. We will see how it goes on Thursday.
