rooms in Palmdale are easy to find.... Motel 6 and other motels near the Palmdale Supercycles...
rooms in Barstow are not as easy at this point... California Inn has LAB2V rates and has "continental breakfast" available at 5AM (6AM is the earliest you can leave Ramada at the check point)
there also is a Motel 6 in Barstow and some others that are still available.
rooms in Las Vegas at the Orleans can be tricky. in years past, they will tell you they are sold out when they actually save quite a few for the day of for the last minute people.
that being said, i have a room with 2 beds in Palmdale, Barstow, and in Vegas and had a buddy bail. so if 1 person needs a place for LAB2V each night, hit me up. in years past, i've even stayed on the floor, so if it comes down to it, i'd be open to a 3rd person if they were okay with sleeping on the floor.
