You could be right about the unlocked maps, it does not explain the problems I had in Europe though.
I have removed the Thai street map from the Garmin unit as I do not have the originals of the other 4 combined maps
The error message went away, but the warnings are still there. I will have to live with that and see what happens when I enter Cambodia in a week or so
