"A SECOND STORM IS EXPECTED TO REACH CALIFORNIA BEGINNING THURSDAY NIGHT. THIS STORM IS FORECAST TO LINGER OVER THE STATE THROUGH THE WEEKEND... BRINGING PERIODS OF RAIN AND MOUNTAIN SNOW TO THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA INTERIOR. SNOW LEVELS WILL START OUT AROUND 7000 FEET NEAR YOSEMITE... BUT FALL TO AROUND 6000 FEET BY SUNDAY EVENING. FURTHER SOUTH... SNOW LEVELS WILL BE AROUND 7000 TO 7500 FEET IN SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK... AND AROUND 8000 FEET IN THE KERN COUNTY MOUNTAINS"
