Hopefully, the intake and exhaust valves will have a track record of staying within the spec; especially with what will be a relatively low'ish revving and under-stressed large displacement I4. Valve inspection is easy enough I suppose, but having to do cam pulls with those intervals would be a pain in the ass unworthy of a 2013 motorcycle. Wasn't motorcycle technology developing past this silliness? Hell, the new Duc engine has intervals longer than my Suzuki.
