The TPS unit is very nice and will be my next purchase.
Way cleaner and user friendly than my solution of replacing the entire pivot shaft with an extended one to drive the TPS.
Yeah, I was proud of my TPS bracket/solution but Chris' is very slick and requires only two holes to be drilled in the bracket. I'm going to use his version. Hoping to get it put back together for a ride this weekend. Sunday might be in the 50's so the bike should start fine...
In other news our shop is going through some changes and like it or not ill need to be moved out by the end of January. The good part of that is that I'm excited to get the 990 back to Portland - if ever a bike suited a town it that would be it. Of course the 990 will have to make the trip with a mill, lathe, and a few other bits and bikes. I'm really hoping we've closed on our house by then and I have a place for it all.
