Great boot thread.

My question to the experienced Gaerne boot riders is about heat. I ride the desert west most of the time. My current boots get my feet hot in the summer. I know BP said to get boots not water proof but what say you?

Do you guys think the Gaerne Oiled or G-Midland boots are not a good choice for hot desert riding?
