THAT right there explains why they always look like the rear wheel was sticking out the back unusually far. I'd put it down to a bit of an optical illusion due to the rear tanks and low-then-upswept twin exhausts.

I've always lusted after a Rallye or better yet a real factory racer. Not because I'd ever ride one to its limits, but because they are essentially the pinnacle of development for the LC4. More motor, more fuel, more stability at speed - what's not to like for distance adventuring?
