Here is a pic of the hole that was drilled for the spring.The hole looks to be at about 8:00 oclock.
But 7:30 was the recommended location in 2008, and now with the latest springs it is recommended to be at just a bit past 6:00 o clock.

I talked to Eagle Mike about it and he said it could have broke from being over tensioned or damage from installation if the wrong tools were used.
So, I am going to drill a new hole at just past 6 o clock.
