One of these bikes is not like the others. 4Play was the lone rider on a knobby. Not that it made much difference. Number one, he's talented enough that he could have made it up the hills on street tires and two, we all aired up ours to 10-11 psi in the flatlands, which was 13-15 on these mountains. They were acting pretty much like street tires, anyway!
Once I dropped the pressure down it was so much easier.

The Rug part of the road. Maybe a few thousand more rugs might cover up most of those rocks.
At the bottom of the rug part of Rug Rd. I'm not sure if I've ever worked that hard getting down a simple Jeep road. Nightstalker agrees.:loll
Unfortunately, now we had to climb back up the other side. No pics there. It was a don't stop kinda hill!
