There are a few threads about raising the front of the seat, and it does make a big difference in the feeling like your always sliding forward on the seat. It was really noticeable after I switched to a Sargent seat, but raising the front made the seat perfect for me. No more scotching back in the seat all the time. Buns stay in the sweet spot on the seat now.
I could not find any of the sex bolts talked about in the other threads so I made my own stud extensions with my lathe. Just about any machine shop should be able to make the extensions fairly inexpensively.
