Pinging may not be much of an on-going problem but there seem to be lots of lingering effects of lean-running in the Oilhead fleet. It seems that most owners accept them "just the way they are". My personal favorite symptoms are, "keep the RPMs up, Oilheads love 4-5000RPM", or " ... rarely in 6th gear below 70". With as little as 3-4% more fuel, the Boxer motor is transformed.
Although Lamda shifters can be bought for $160 (Innovate Motorsports LC-1), when someone makes a Nightrider-type
