Camera Question

[Side note -- this day's events and my inability to photograph it inspired me to buy an Olympus 1030sw, waterproof, dustproof, shock resistant. I'm still not satisfied with the photos I'm getting with it compared to the Fuji F30 -- mostly because of inferior auto-programs and lack of manual override on the olympus, but I'm hoping I can sort that out soon.]

So I am just at post #257 (2008) and came across your camera comment. It is 2012 now, what have you done in the meantime? Did you find a better solution than the Olympus?

Don't know if or when I'll catch up, but it certainly is a great read!
TATs not something I'm ever likely to do, but reading your MT1 has made me feel closer. I, too, particularly liked your pix and thoughts about being in the middle of the Great Plains.

Thanks,
