Great pic, just what I was looking for. For giggles what's the overall width with the Givi's?

One other question, will this work with the top rack I presently have on my SM, It looks similar in design to your rack but way narrower? It seems like your side rack system attaches to your wider top rack.

Here is a link to the rack I have, from Ebay

After looking it over the Givi's might be the best choice...Canuman is right when he says that if I need bigger than the Givi 21L I probably need a bigger bike

Ron,

The overall width of the Givi's is 35". That's one inch wider than the handlebars with the bar end weights in place.

My side racks and top rack are completely independent of each other. They both use the same subframe tab to attach to, but the top rack attaches to the back of it while the side racks attach to the front of it. This way you can have just a top rack or just side racks or both at the same time.

The rack you show a link to will not interfere with my side racks at all.

EDIT: The only side racks that attach to the top rack is the DRZ-E model because there's no place else to attach them. The E model has a different subframe that doesn't have attachment points, so they have to attach to the top rack. I believe I'm the only one making a setup like that for the E.

Thanks, Tom
