The 640 has a single disc conversion for off roading and the owner did mension vibration so I'll knock that on the head.

Dropped into KTM today and looked at a 690 R. Beautiful but it would take to much money and effort to get it to the specs that I would be happy with.

Had a look at the 2012 demo model 990 Adv and love the feel and look of the 950/990 put if I was to go 990 it would have to be an R model but I'm now going to buy new and the second mark here is not great for getting them at realistic prices. There one R for sale at the minute that's 3 year old and now and he's looking for 2000 more then a MY12 990 se. Nuts.

So I'll look around for a 950 and see what's out there. Get the best I can and then mod it. I usually Repsol my bikes so a Repsol Decal set will be fitted as soon as.
