It takes some doing but i did drag the center stand two or three times while riding in the mountains around Chimney Rock N.C. last June. Mostly sharp switchbacks made for some interesting moments. I like my 09 Stelvio. Can't see any reason to upgrade. She is happily awaiting the end of winter parked in her stall in the barn. After installing auxillary lights, cruise control, and maybe a tank bag, this winter I should be set. Nothing left to farkle.
Unless I really needed the bigger tank, I wouldn't upgrade to the NTX. I admit it is a nice feature, but I doubt that I'll really NEED another 4 gallons riding in the US.
