I saw ur pix Psycho, u definitely need more agressive tires like Maxxis Deset I/T or Dunlop Geomax, i have the trakMaster II on another rim seperatly, so i only use it for this type of ride & ur right u must keep these tires as far away from black top even though it's a DOT tire. That's the only major downfall of TraKmaster 760. Another way to try to save the rubber (of any knobby tire) is to inflate it to 33psi or so when on pavement & lower them to 15/12psi on dirt.
