Hello folks! Been a while but have some forward movement.
Okay, finally pulled the forks apart and cleaned them out and reassembled with new seals.
Fit them into the triples and bolted on new fork guards with new bolts.
I scored a set of CR wheels from my neighbor with dual sport tires already installed. The fronts like new--the back, not so much.
Installed the wheel assembly but the axle came up short.
Here you can see it doesn't quite make it through.
So, I took the spacer from the other side.......
.......and had my machinest take 5/8" off.
