Following one day of rest yesterday, Canadian ALDO Racing/KTM Canada Rider Patrick Beaulé resumed a steady pace in his bid to be the first Canadian to complete the infamous Dakar Rally on both two and four wheels.
The Quebec born rider completed the ninth and longest stage of the 2013 Dakar in 6 hours and 56 minutes to place 69th on the day’s stage.
Patrick maintains the 63rd position in the overall standings after eight stages.
“The next few days will be very difficult; the Dakar is more difficult than I expected! All the better! I will continue to try to remain among the top 60 in the overall. I am mentally prepared and rested for the next 6 days and truly living a dream”, said Patrick on the rest day.
